If we recycle plastic items into new products it will improve the environmental plastic pollution dramatically. If we pick up discarded water bottles, shopping bags, and food packaging from the ground and waterways and recycle the items we will be doing a great deal towards saving the environment. If we develop more biodegradable plastic from renewable plant sources such as vegetable oil, corn, wheat, soy, potatoes, and sugar cane, the need for non-bidegradable plastics will be reduced. If we establish strict laws that manage waste in the global community and encourage companies to change their manufacturing of plastic products process than we can look forward to a greener world.
In the small town of Bundanoon in New South Wales in Australia, plastic water bottles have been banned and more chilled water fountains installed. The University of Canberra in the ACT, has banned bottled or contained water from its campus.
Therefore these are the alternative solutions that make a little difference towards reducing plastic waste.
